Anatomy of an IICRC-Compliant, Intrusive Water Damage Inspection after Ian

New Florida laws (SB76 / SB1598) require insurance work to be industry-compliant. That means, for Water Damage Restoration, compliant with IICRC S500-2021.

That means, if not compliant, work is illegal. Illegal work means no pay. Hurricane Ian is a disaster for Florida Insurance Carriers. They will do their best not to pay. Mold Assessors: Make sure your water damage inspections / assessments are IICRC-compliant.
